Hi,
In the process of analysing fluid sloshing movement in a sealed tank, does Fluent calculate the friction heat generated by the fluid hitting the tank wall by itself? If not, do I have to enter the elements that I consider through UDF? Thank you for your helps, |

You need to turn on viscous heating option in viscous models. It's usually off by default, for some models it is always on. Best way to check is to open up your case and turn it on.

I turn on 'SST k-w model' and viscous heating too. And do i have to turn on 'wall adhesion too? Could you teach me what i should to consider for viscous heating modeing? It is caused by fluid movement around the wall. |
