I'm working on the simulation of jet milling. Jet mills are size reduction machines which accelerate the particles to be ground in a rapid fluid stream, effecting a comminution either by means of mutual collision or impact against a target. Jet mills are employed for superfine to colloid size reduction. Jet mills achieve jet speeds of up to Mach 2. However, it should be noted that immediately after the particles are fed to the mill chamber, the jet speed drops significantly.

I made various runs with different conditions(initial, boundary and different meshes) and with different CFD programs.

So, my problem is to verify this runs. Did anyone know someone who is making similiar simulations or are there any testcases for such a problem ?

Thank You,

Kargl Karl
