Hi everyone,

Does anyone of you know how to refine the mesh on a specific region on a part in STARCCM+ for instance if I have blade I want to refine only the tip rather than whole blade how it could be done?

I have already used custom controls but they only allow to refine the mesh on a part as a whole.

I have also used the volumetric control which offers the cylinder and block shapes but they do not match with the blade shape and I waste many cells on them. However, those volumetric controls don't afford the custom size of 0.00XX m, resulting in a warning.

Could you suggest something on it or share the document from Steve Portal as I cannot access it? Your help is highly appreciated.

Best regards,
