Hii all
I am simulating a (Sandia flame D) which is diffusion jet flame having the main jet at the center surrounded by a piolet flame and using a flamelet generation module to model reactive flow. The center jet is having 25% ch4 and 75% air mixture which is partially mixed having an axial velocity of 49.6 m/s at 294 k. The piolet is a lean mixture of ch4-air at an equivalence ratio of 0.77. The flame has a temperature of around 2000k at burner exit with a velocity of 11 m/s Now while generating flamelet what should be my boundary condition for fuel stream the calculated mass fraction is as follows Yche=0.16325; Yn2=0.632827; YO2 is 0.198; at temperature 294 k for Oxidizer stream I have simply given Yn2=0.767 and Y02= 0.233 at 300k. I am not confident with the boundary condition for the oxidizer stream. can I give the temperature of the oxidizer stream as 2000k and also include the mass fraction of Ch4 also? Then my mixture fraction at fuel stream would be 1. what would be my mixture fraction at oxidiser stream?? Please give me your valuable suggestions |
