Friction Stir Processing?

Hi,

I want to simulate two cohesively joined sheets of aluminium and copper and friction stir process them. as there will be two instances which will be getting deformed so its not possible to do this using CEL. I am using Abaqus. The contact between two plates will be assigned using cohesive contact. I have never used ALE approach so i am not sure if this should work or not. Please guide me and any input would be helpful. Thanks
