Hi everyone,
I have run a simulation based on 6 M cells mesh. The direction of rotation is such that flow is coming from leading edge to trailing edge of the blade i.e. [0,0,-1]. However, the axis set for the moment coefficient is [0,0,1]. After getting the monitor plot for moment coefficient, I see that it is not converged the first portion of the plot gives high values and other gives lower values. Could you please tell me what could be the reason for this? P.S: I am using STARCCM+. Thanks for your time. |

Please try to explain your problem in a clear manner. Your question is confusing. Go into specifics for others to identify the problem.

I am simulating the flow around a wind turbine blade. My simulation settings are as follows: Time-step size: 0.001 s Number of time-steps: 500 Number of inner iterations: 5 If there is something else you want to know, let me know. |
