Hello,

I am trying to get design parameters for the wave tank by using CFD. I have made Flapwavemaker and slope shape wave absorber. The model runs without any error although my wave elevation is reducing after 1m distance. The length of the tank is 10m and the wave absorber starts from 8m. The wavelength calculates is 1.56m which can give 4-5 waves till 8 m. But my wave is diminishing just after 1mtr. The wave at 1m is reasonable which I want.

I wanted to know what can be the reason behind this?

I have added a wave elevation plot and contour for reference.
