Hi,
I ran the simulation while using SST Transition model in STARCCM+ with following settings: Free stream edge function for SST Transition Model = $WallDistance>0.005?1:0 I made following selections in physics continua: All y+ Treatment Gamma Re-Theta Transition Constant Density Segregated flow Steady SST (Menter) K-Omega 3D Turbulent In initial conditions, I changed the incoming flow velocity= -9 m/s. In Reports>Drag Coefficient: Direction (0, 0, 1) because inflow is in z-direction and in coordinate system z-axis is pointing opposite to the flow direction. Reference velocity= -9 m/s, Reference Area = frontal area for the blade calculated in Report REGIONS: Inner Geometry (Blade) => Boundary Type = Wall; Reference Frame: Lab Frame (same for other boundaries) Velocity Inlet: Flow Direction: [0,0,-1] With all this monitor plot for the Drag Coefficient experiences small increasing oscillations and residuals also jump after decreasing for a while. Any suggestions please? What could go wrong? |
