Hi there,

I am using OpenFoam to simulate a hydrofoil in steady state. In particular, I am looking for the drag values. The foil strut and the foil itself are extended the boundaries on all sides as I do not want to model end effects. In reality, the foil extends another few meters on both sides. The near side boundary is hidden in this picture. I am looking for the drag value for just this particular section of foil and strut and nothing else.

What boundary should I be using? A patch that is set to zeroGradient for all values or should I set the symmetry condition?

Many Thanks,
