stuey05 is on a distinguished road
Hello,

I am running a CFD-DEM simulation with particles hitting a screen. When the first layer of particles hits the screen they stick. However, the next particle travels downwards and completely overlaps with the first particle, eventually resulting in multiple particles occupying the exact same position.

I am using the spring collision model and have experimented with a full range of K values in an attempt to rectify this situation, but the exact same result is found with K values ranging from 1e-5 to 1e20. I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge of why this is happening and how it may be solved?

Thank you very much,

Stuart
