Some questions about porosity in olaFlow

Hello all,
I'm learning OpenFOAM by using the solver olaFlow. However, I'm quite confused with the porosityDict and the porosityIndex in setFields. In the tutorial of breakwater, there are 4 materials in porosityDict. I think the clear region means water, and the other 3 columns of parameters means 3 kinds of materials using in this tutorial(core, secondary Layer and primary Layer). In setFields, the volScalarFieldValue porosityIndex 1, porosityIndex 2 and porosityIndex 3 are given. At first, I think the porosityIndex 1 to 3 that I set in setFields should follow the sequence in porosityDict. However, when I gave a porosityIndex 5 (while there were only three materials except water in porosityDict), it still appeared in paraView. Therefore, I wonder what is exactly used in our calculation, the coefficients in porosityDict or the porosityIndex in setFields? By the way, is there an one-to-one correspondence between the materials I set in porosityDict and the porosityIndex in setFields? Best regards, Stan |
