Dear Friends,

I would like to know as how to discretise the buoyancy

term, using simpler algorithm, that occur in the

momentum equation. I am not able to get a clear

picture from the book of Patankar.

One possibility is to use the Boussinesq-Approximation if your temperatur variation is not big. An other way is to consider the $\rho* g$ Term as a source term, that would give you (after the Integration $\Delta V * \rho* g$. Try to get the book from Peric, Ferziner "Computational Fluid Dynamics" or something like that. Is realy a very good book. The Patankar is for beginners.

best regards
