hi everyone.
just got some general questions. I want to do some fire modelling. So essentially imagine there's a pool of diesel and it's on fire, i want to know what the concentration of gases and smoke are at different points in the domain. do i need combustion modelling to do this? Im a bit confused. to my knowledge this is just a multiphase problem and it just assumes the standard hydrocarbon reaction and can also model the heat rejection. Combustion modelling however takes into account all the chemical kinetics. Is this correct?? Sorry for being vague. |
