I can imagine how a fluid traveling through a curve i.e transitioning from a straight segment into an elbow would impose a force that would try and "straighten" the elbow. Can anyone point me to a reference about this concept either, book or published work?
Thanks in advance |

The terms force, inertia, and momentum conservation come to mind. I think it's called Newton's laws: published in Philosophić Naturalis Principia Mathematica. Shouldn't be a magical concept in 2019...
