Please suggest some papers that compare conservative and non-conservative formulations in high speed and low-speed test cases. I have studied, In high speed flows conservative discretization is recommended because it can calculate the shock speed relatively better than non-conservative methods. I got one paper for incompressible flows. They found that non-conservative form of characteristic based reconstruction has better convergence than a conservative one.
