Hi to everybody, this is my first post here (if this isn't the right place, please tell me).
I've been asked to model a heat exchanger integrated in an axial fan casing. I wonder which software I could use for that. I have used Fluent for aerodynamics (not heat exchange) and I wanted to know if it's ok for my needings. I've also seen that there are many others (Comsol, Theseus-fe, QuickField...) Has anyone used them and can tell me if they are good for what I want? Aerodynamic losses of the fan should be studied too (if the same software can do it, it would be perfect). I should model the behavior in case of a nearby fire, so I guess the radiation component shouldn't be negligible. Ambient humidity is another factor of study. [...] I should model the behavior in case of a nearby fire, so I guess the radiation component shouldn't be negligible. I would be a non steady simulation. Thank you very much for your attention Last edited by wyldckat; February 3, 2019 at 17:47. Reason: merged posts that were identical |
