Hello everyone!

I'm pursuing M.Tech. degree in Machine Design (Mechanical Engineering) and has recently been hired in a company for thesis work. My project is titled as "Forced Response analysis of Gas Turbine Blade". But turns out that the hiring team doesn't have a proper plan for the research work. They can't share the blade profile with me as it might affect their company's policy. I have been asked to search for a profile of Gas Turbine blade whose CAD model as well as validation data are available for general public use. My thesis project is not making any progress. I'm new on this forum and a little help in this regard will be appreciated. Please suggest if any gas turbine blade geometry (with validation data) is available online. Also suggest what could be done to kick-start the research work in this field (forced response analysis of gas turbine blade).

You can find some validation cases in the Turbomachinery section of the ERCOFTAC Knowledge Base Wiki (see link in the Links > References > Validation section).

Thanks for the reply. I tried to search the ERCOFTAC knowledge Base wiki. I could find some cases after searching (couldn't find it in the links>References>Validation though). But the cases mentioned there are either for compressors or for the steam turbine. I was looking for "Turbine Section of Gas Turbine Engine" that includes a specified turbine blade geometry whose CAD model is easily available (even for the public use) and some validation cases that have been performed on that blade (if in the field of vibrations, then it would be more beneficial).
