Hello!

Is it possible to simulate a steady free surface flow in interfoam?

The scenario I want to simulate is similar to a gravity-driven fluid flow down an inclined plane, but I only want to model a segment of it where the flow velocity is steady. Could this be done through correct BCs perhaps?

I have tried modifying the interfoam code to accommodate cyclic boundaries while being inclined but the velocities quickly rise non-stop (calculated velocities can reach up to 100 m/s for 26 degrees and will continue to increase unless terminated) and abnormally high velocities are observed at the air-water interface.

I gladly welcome any ideas. Thank you in advance!
