Hello everyone,
Is there anyone with some experience in Adjoint Optimization for compressible flows that takes into account heat transfer? I feel comfortable with the adjoint optimization. My knowledge derives from the reading of Othmer's papers, which focus only on the incompressible case. I would like to ask if someone could suggest some papers or references about an extension of the method for compressible case that takes into account also heat transfer. Thank you very much. Cheers |

At the moment the only one papers I found that treats also the Energy equation is "Total Pressure Losses Minimization in Turbomachinery Cascades,
using a New Continuous Adjoint Formulation" by D.I. Papadimitriou, K.C. Giannakoglou but it's too hard to understand the mathematical treatment. |
