Default Multidomain method with non-overlapping, non-matching grids with staggered arrangement

Hi all CFD-practitioners,

Does anyone have some references about multidomain application with NON-overlapping subdomains and NON-matching grids with staggered grid arrangement for solving incompressible flows?

I am mainly interested in the algorithm/numerical techniques suitable for this kind of configuration. I know there are some works within the mortar element context, but I would like some references in the finite volume/finite difference one...

Thanks in advance,

franck

Hi, you'll be able to find some interesting information on the website of Dr. Shyy, at University of florida. Especially, you can download some pdf file about a code name SEAL. This code is staggered, and treat multidomain interface. I know that one of the chapter is about multidomain. In fact let me give you the adress where you can download all that: http://www.aero.ufl.edu/cfd/seal1.html

Good luck in your investigations. Sincerely,

Frederic Felten.
