Simulation versus reality!

Does anybody have experience in evaluation isothermal flows through cracks or window openings, using k-eps-modell. I am not satisfied with my investigations. Comparison to empirical results differ to much. I use PHOENICS with a cartesian Grid.

The results:

window totally opended : +80% referrended to measuarements.

window with a slope of 30 degree tilted : -39% referrended to measuarements.

Any comments would be appreciated.
