Hi all CFD users
I´m gonna simulate condensation/ evaporating of water in the air blowing flows ( usually known as air evaporative/ condensation cooling and heating in the literature) . There are some unknown parameters to be solved by CFD analysis. For example, the gas & water temperature, the water vapour mass fraction or in the other word, relative humidity should be solved in this simulation. I prefer to implement details in OPENFOAM CFD tool. The additional point is ,that , both of the air and water flow regimes is located within the laminar flow regime. My questions are as follows: 1)Which equations should be used as governing equations especially at the interface region according to the attached image ? 2) Is the saturated state assumption at the interface zone logical? 3) If the saturated assumption is applicable, then how to be computed source terms in the interface zone? 4) How are these equations descretized specially at the interface cells (for example C(M+1,N))? Is there anyone to help me to deal with these issues? Regards M.Asghari |
