Hi,
I am working on a model and it involves a ball rotating inside of a cage bearing. I did a simplified model for easier simulation. My goal is to analyse the stress on the rings while the ball rotates. You can find the image in the link below. (don't consider the points on the ball in the middle- deleted them afterwards.) However, even though I have given no separation condition in the contacts (also not sure about that ) and named my parts and selected fixed support for the rings, the mesh fails. Does anyone have any idea how to solve this issue? Failed mesh image: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1aI8...ew?usp=sharing |
