Hi, I have a curiosity: I have a jet-fan thrusting air: I know its volumetric flow rate and the velocity at the exit section. How can I calculate: 1) the thrust, 2) the power of the jet-fan; 3) the efficency (I know the motor power too).
Thank you, Gabriel |

Look in any fluid mechanics book for applying momentum conservation law. For the thrust it depends wether the fan is advancing or is static.
