Hi,
i have a problem for which i have not found solution so far. i have two cubes the smaller one (porous cylinder) surrounded by bigger cube(air)I am trying to setup case which involves conjugate heat transfer from a porous cylinder to surrounding fluid(air) through forced convection. Code:
cfd domain.png the flow properties are T air=283, Re=40 ,Pr =0.7 and permeability K=10^-2. Code:
BlockMesh used to mesh the two regions in a single meshing operation, where the internal cylinder is meshed as a cellZone and the porosity is later assigned with an fvOption. now i need to assign fixed temperature to porous cylinder and simulate heat transfer between cylinder and surrounding fluid. Can i use fixed temperature constraint(with limited exposure i have, it is applicable to compressible flow) how to define heat transfer interface conditions between two regions(both are defined as fluids) Thanks in advance Regards, Ramana |
