Hi,
I simulate a vertical turbulent particle-laden duct flow. Despite being a generic problem I am not able to find any validation data for the expected particle concentrations. Does anyone know a good reference? If not: I can find a lot of experimental and numerical data for channel flows, suggesting that particles will accumulate close to the walls. But where would you expect particles to accumulate in a duct flow? At the walls or more in the duct corners? Best, Holger |
