Forrest is on a distinguished road
I am completely new to using FUN3D, and I am trying to run a simple bump in a channel test case to get my sea legs under me. I have specified the pressure subsonic inflow (subsonic_inflow_pt) for the inlet and set the total pressure and temperature ratios based using the isentropic relations for a freestream Mach number of 0.3. However, my solutions show a Mach number of 0.01!

I have looked through NASA/TM-2011-217181, which discusses the inlet and outlet conditions in FUN3D, looking for some additional guidance. One of the test cases made use of the pressure subsonic inflow boundary condition that I am trying to use. The inlet Mach number for this case was about 0.14. The value of pt/pinf that was used in the paper was 1.6, which is no where near the value given by the isentropic relations for the given Mach number. Can someone please explain to me what I am missing/misunderstanding? Thanks!
