What literature can you recommend for turbulence in 2d?

I'm having issues understanding turbulence in 2d and would like to have some references of books, papers that might be easier to understand.
I'm dealing with 2D turbulence, this is turbulence models that work with the shallow water equations or any other 2d approximations. I have found many for the 3d case, but it's very different from the 2d one. And also some reference where I could find the deduction of the K-epsilon model, but the depth averaged one (Rodi, 1978), it was supposed to be first proposed in the paper: Predictions of mass and heat transfer in open channels; but it has been difficult to find a pdf for such paper. |
