Linear Pressure Strain over predicting wall shear stress

Hi All,
Just a quick question. If I use a linear pressure strain solver (made for high y+ values) on a mesh with low y+ values (values of 5 or less), why does the solver over predict wall shear stress. Following this, what impact does increased wall shear stress have on fluctuating velocity components in the flow? Im trying to find papers and the like on this topic but Im finding it difficult to source material. Any help would be appreciated. Kind Regards, Jer |
