Hello everyone,

I would like to model (not numerically) a periodic horizontal jet flow in a room space where the temperature is higher than that of the jet. My goal is to know the transient temperature decay of the jet with distance as well as velocity decay. I want to simplify the model as much as i can.
Does anyone have knowledge of this or knowledge of any reference that could be of help?

Thank you

Hi dka,

What do you mean by modeling (not numerical) ? How do you plan to do it? I can explain you how to set periodic boundary condition in a numerical model.
