Hello everyone,
I am a student and I am a beginner of Gerris. Now I am trying to simulate the atomisation of liquid jet through a nozzle. I was trying to follow the example: http://gerris.dalembert.upmc.fr/gerr...on.html#htoc16 and have generated my own simulation file and 3D nozzle geometry, but it did not work. I have checked my nozzle model with: gtscheck -v < nozzle.gts , and it looks fine. There are always warnings while running the simulation: Gfs-CRITICAL **: PE 2 (PC): ftt_cell_travers: assertion ‘root!=NULL’failed Gfs-CRITICAL **: PE 7 (PC): ftt_cell_pos: assertion ‘cell!=NULL’failed The process always fails at 15 or 18 step and shows error information like: (process :16030): Gfs-ERROR **: file vof.c: line 1616 (f_over_Dv): assertion failed: (GFS_VALUE (cell, p->vpar.v) > 0.) If I delete the nozzle model from the simulation, then everything goes fine just like the example. I don’t quite understand where goes wrong after importing the model into simulation, and how can I revise it. I have enclosed my simulation file. I will be really grateful if anyone can look at it and give me some advise. Thanks for your time. |
