Hello Everyone,
I am looking for a simple CFD tool to simulate flow over general bluff bodies like oval, cylinder, truncated airfoil at maximum thickness etc. Since I do not need very accurate results. This study is to filter geometries for my PIV wind tunnel test. I have tried XFOIL but it does not work for bluff bodies. It would be great if someone can suggest some simpler tool which requires lower computational power and can carry out the task up to a limit. Thank you, Jaydeep Koradiya |

Can you generate mesh in Fluent msh format. If yes then you can try FVUS.
Its easy to use and since mesh and simulation set up are different, as long as you keep the mesh region and boundary names same you do not need to set up again and again. If you want even simpler than I do not know. (other than starccm or fluent) |
