My question is can one way FSI is possible without using system coupling feature. And by carrying out complete cfd analysis i import my loads on static structural model for resulting deformation is this possible to do one way fsi with this way as i mention not using system coupling feature. And my second question is how decide about the appropriate fluid domain for my analysis weather it should be sphere or cube and how i define its parameters.

Hi
I am doing the same project, if you want to find displacement, yes you can do FSI using Star ccm+ without coupling with other software. But If you want to find the vibration frequency like what I am doing , I think there should be coupling with FEA software like Ansys or Abaqus.
