CFD Online will soon be opening a new book section. The site will be a comprehensive guide to CFD literature. This project is a collaboration between David Creech, who is responsible for the CFD Books Guide and Jonas Larsson, who is responsible for CFD Online.
Before the public launch of the books guide we intend to have a private pre-release of it to people who are interested and willing to help. The Books Guide is user-driven - anyone can submit new books and review existing books. Already today the guide contains more than 200 books, all categorized and described. However, there a only a few book-reviews and many descriptions need to be improved. We therefore need all the help we can get. If you would like to recommend a CFD related book and check that its description in the guide is okay and perhaps submit a short review of it then we would be very grateful. The guide also covers CFD related areas like basic fluid dynamics, different application areas, numerical methods etc. If you are interested and would like to help with the new books-guide then please send an email to David Creech (d-creech@uiuc.edu) to get the address and password to the new site. Thanks in advance! David & Jonas |
