Flow Inside a Funnel

Hello Everyone,
I am doing a simulation of PAN Precursor spinning process. The whole setup is submerged in the solvent(Please refer to the figure) and the wall of filament bundle as shown in the figure is moving at 0.03333 m/s. Some of the solvent flows out of the funnel because of the moving wall and to compensate that four pumps(2 pumping in and 2 pumping out) are installed in it. Until now, I have been using the solvent outlet as a pressure outlet and trying to find out the mass flow rate through the Report feature present in Fluent only. But I am not satisfied with the results I am getting. I am wondering if it is the problem with Solvent outlet boundary conditions or what. I shall be highly grateful if anybody can help me out with this!!! thanks in advance. |
