Hello Hi,
I am running a flow simulation inside a tube with throttle valve. In the problem, the boundary conditions are angle of throttle valve is from 0 to 90 in steps of 10. I just wanted to know whether the vavle rotates and just it is stationary at some angle. I have attached the word file. Please let me know what to do.. |

First of all.
Do you know how to set up a NX Flow Simulation? The steps you´ll have to do are. 1. Set up a Flow Simulation with your Boundary Conditions (BC´s) and use a Report/Lift´n´Drag to get the moment on your throttle valve. 2. Pressure Drop. There´s also a Report for the PD. If you need the PD from in- to outlet its easy to set up. 3. Postprocessing 4. If you want to transfer the forces into a FEM-Simulation you have to map the results. I have to look it up, how you can do it excatly, but theres also a tutorial in the NX help to do it. Hope i could help a little |
