Flow through throttle valve in NX flow

Hello all,
I am using Siemens NX 10. I have the hollow tube and the throttle valve is located at the center of the tubee. The boundary conditions are given as: 1.)inlet flowvolume : 560m^3/h 2.)Temperature at inlet : 0'c 3.)static pressure at outlet : 1 bar 4.) Angle of throttle valve : 0 to 90 in 10'c steps Target: 1. Determine aligning torque of the throttle valve 2. Determine the pressure drop for each position of the throttle 3. transfer of the results in an XY plot 4. transfer of the forces on the throttle in a FEM simulation (determination of deformation and comparison voltage at the throttle valve) I am confused to give the angle to throttle valve and to determine the aligning torque and pressure drop of throttle valve. I have implemented the synchronous modeling such as promote and delete face options to create the polygon body. Did the meshing with 2d meshing(shell). Now I am struck up in giving the boundary conditions. Could anyone please help me. |
