Hi everybody,
who is interested in approximate Rieman solvers! Here is the description of the fastest solver which I use for unsteady simulations. I will be glad to hear some thoughts about it from you. Download one of the following documents http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/P...UBS/solver.doc (MS Word 6.0) http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/P...PUBS/solver.ps (PostScript) or from the Publications list at http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Pit/9939/mypage.htm page and enjoy it. Well,
seems that nobody is interested in discussing Riemann solvers at CFD Online forum. That is discouraging... Andrei |

Now there is a link to sample 1D code which uses this solver
at URL: http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Pit/9939/mypage.htm page Andrei. |

Hello Andrew.
Your results are interesting. Try numerically solve the following Riemann 1-D problem for heat ratio 1.4: Left conditions: Density=1.4, Pressure=1, Velocity=-3 Right conditions: Density=1.4, Pressure=1, Velocity= 3 It would be fine if you get monotone solution for density profile with minimum value 0.014336 ! Please, inform me. Alexey. |
