Hello Everyone
I am looking for a large simulation dataset, preferably based on a unstructured mesh. Doesn't really matter the type of the simulation, as long as it has a complex mesh. I am currently working with scientific data management, and I want to run some experiments. Does anyone know of any publicly available dataset? I'd also be interested in any tool that would allow me to generate such mesh (something with 10^9 vertexes or more) for an artificial dataset, even though a real application is preferable. Thanks in advance. |

You can write a program to generate data set for yourself.
There are exact solutions for navier stokes available for 2d and 3d, they are used for benchmarking. These solutions are function of x,y and z so you can get pressure velocity on every node you have. You can use this to test your program. This way you can control the size of files too. Quote:
