Hey All,
I am trying to solve a problem using the steady state solver simpleFoamof to simulate the flow over a C-D nozzle with a flange. I created a mesh using gmsh for y+=1, which led to a mesh spacing of 0.00008. The mesh is follows; 1.jpg 2.jpg 3.jpg 4.jpg 5.jpg As can be seen, the mesh has a too many blocks. I was wondering to run this mesh using the kOmega turbulence model but unfortunately I have kept getting a divergent solution. My gut feeling tells me that the mesh might not be as expected by the solver. Even though when I did check mesh it reports that the mesh is ok, I kept getting the same issue "Divergent solution". I was wondering if some one could suggest an improvement to the mesh. Again, thanks in advance, Regards, |
