Hello All,
I am very new to this forum, and to CFD. Let me know if I'm not obeying proper forum etiquette, and thanks for having me! I have a question about finding accurate pressures in a CFD simulation I am running. I have picked various points within the model to examine the static pressure and velocity at. I have 2 inlets and 1 outlet. Inlet 1 B.C.: Volumetric Flow rate, temp Inlet 2 B.C.: Volumetric Flow rate, temp Outlet B.C.: Atmospheric pressure The problem is the points are returning with a negative gauge pressure, when I think they should have a positive gauge pressure. Should I apply an atmospheric gauge pressure to the inlets, in order to get an accurate pressure reading? Is there a better way to do this? I might be going about this the wrong way, as I said I am very new to CFD. Thanks in advance for your help! |

Never mind, I figured out my problem. I was misreading the program's results (between gauge pressure and atmospheric pressure).
