I am simulating a fuel rod assembly to evaluate hotspot in CFX . I am using K epsilon model . I wish to capture boundary layer . I have been through a research paper similar to my case of evaluation of hot spot in the helium moderated reactor and the solver has used K Epsilon with scalable wall function. Difficulty with SST model has been the convergence issue but with K Epsilon I am able to obtain a converged solution. Will it work for my case ?
