Hi,
I am having some trouble in solving a problem related to heat transfer from flame. A flame was ignited in a mild steel tube. The flame temperature was 2000 degree Celsius. The diameter of mild steel tube was 0.48 meter. Now the question is that what will be the surface temperature of the mild steel tube when the flame temperature is 2000 degree Celsius? Assuming that the flame is evenly distributed in the tube. Any help regarding this will be highly appreciated. Thank you. |
