Hi everybody!
I have to perform a CFD analysis on a spring-loaded valve and calculate the overall forces caused from a fluid on the valve disc. My doubt is on how to impose my "surface goal" on the disc to find the resulting force on it and verify if it's enough to overcome spring force: I have to impose only the side hit by the fluid flow or all disc surfaces because also pression distribuition behind the disc (greater) affects the overall force on the disc? Thanks |
