Could anyone explain how to map from a normal 2D mesh to axisymmetric mesh of the same 2D mesh?
The initial 2D mesh has 5 patches. (Up Down Right Left frontAndback [empty]) while the axisymmetric mesh (after using makeAxialMesh utility) has 6 patches(up down right left[axis] frontAnd Back_pos [wedge] frontandback_neg[wedge]) It would be really helpful if someone could explain how to use mapFields between these two types of meshes. I get an error if I use Mapfields utility directly (for a certain region). |
