Hi everyone, I am student of final year BS Mechanical Engineering. I want to learn CFD. Currently I am taking course "Introduction to CFD" offered by my university. I want to know what is the best way to learn about CFD. Can someone please share names/links of good books/websites/tutorials etc for a beginner. I want to learn not only the software but also the theory of CFD.
Please consider me as a very below average student when answering this question. Thank you. |

choose a solver for eg fluent, open foam, etc. go through the tutorials to run a simple case. then once you see the colourful fluid dynamics, read about the numerical techniques involved. then slowly immerse yourself in turbulence.

Hi Ali,
I suggest you read computational fluid dynamic book that written by versteeg that learn finite volume method with a fantastic manner! also,if you start with openFOAM software you can learn both theory and software . |
