Hi
I want to do the rising bubble simulation using vof model of fluent. The system is an air bubble in a stagnant liquid towards the bottom of narrow column.I am having problem in geometry creation using gambit. If anyone has done or knows about this problem please tell me the solution. |

Hi,
This sounds like a relatively simple problem. I assume you want no walls and so, so periodic boundary? Perhaps easiest would be to simply create a box geometry in the geometry editor, and mesh it with hexahedral cells. Or do you have other intentions? By the way, please post this kind of questions in the FLUENT forum rather than the main CFD forum. Best Cees Last edited by CeesH; December 21, 2015 at 08:26. Thanks for your reply Cees. No i dont want periodic boundary condition i did create the geometry containing three walls and a pressure outlet and did the meshing by using quadrilateral mesh because its a two dimensional problem. The problem is when the mesh is imported to fluent and read, there are some additional walls created and i am not getting the result which I should get.
