Hello,
I am working on CFD coding(Fortran Language) in my master and here is the story: to solve the conservation equations (finite volume method), you need to store the dependent variables somehow in the grid nodes and here is the problems come as every arrangement has its own advantages and disadvantages - Non-staggered arrangement - MAC staggered arrangement - ICED-ALE arrangement - The TURF arrangement and I see it is from many point of views that Non-staggered arrangement is the appropriate one but as clearly this method has pressure oscillations and to avoid that you need make some remedy 1- Are there books talking about that ?(NOT JUST THE BASICS) 2- If so, Which ones? 3- I do not know if this could be a question but What are the latest works in that area ? 4- Where can I put my eyes on to keep up with that area of CFD (CODING) to get the updates? Thanks Last edited by khaled.ebraheem; December 19, 2015 at 14:46. Reason: so Sorry |

the basic textbooks of CFD have some sections (for example the book of Peric & Ferziger), but I suggest to read in the research journals where you can find the proper literature.
I worked on these topics and you can find many references in my papers: https://www.researchgate.net/publica...y-driven_flows https://www.researchgate.net/publica...taggered_grids |
