Hello,
for my Master thesis I'm trying to simulate the turbulent non-premixed bluff body stabilzed flame HM1. http://sydney.edu.au/engineering/aer...uids/bluff.htm I want to use different detailed chemistry mechanisms. For the simulation Star CCM+ is used. And I have generated a 2D structured mesh containing approximatly 15000 cells. My time step is 0.00001s I have set up an unsteady simulation and can achieve a good convergence using a non reacting flowfield. I can not however get an ignition with a stable flame. Has anyone an idea as to what I can do to get a stable flame? |
