i'm curious, are marine propellers providing more thrust when they are half-submerged?

Dear All,

I'm researcher in marine hydrodynamics fields,

Could any one please help starting Marine propeller flow simulation, prediction of pressure pulses on ship hull structure.

I found hardship in solid modeling of propeller.

I've got model through PROPCAD and would like to convert to solid to be imported via CFX

I do appreciate your attention
